Gelcoat refers to the material used to provide a high-quality gloss finish on the
visible surface of a fiber-reinforced composite material, such as fiberglass.
Most common gelcoats are based on epoxy or polyester resin chemistry.
They can be colored and will retain a durable high gloss surface. Many watercraft and bathroom
fixtures utilize an outer layer of gelcoat, which can become worn, chipped, or cracked.
In addition to bulk Gel-coat polymer coatings we offer repair kits for
nicks, gouges, and scratches on gelcoat, fiberglass, acrylic, or porcelain tubs, sinks,
showers. We also offer repair kits for fiberglass boats, RVs, surf boards, and laminate countertops.
We use the highest quality materials for our products and ship orders promptly.
We stock standard white colors and will custom match other colors.
Gel-coat patch repair kits in white are available at
some retailers in the Seattle area. Please check specific store availability
in your area.

from various boat, catamaran, and jet ski manufacturers. Please provide us
with the make, model, and year of your watercraft. Our list of standards range

Custom Color Repair Kits
Like watercraft, many contemporary kitchen and bath fixtures exist in a wide variety of colors. Color matching
of these items can sometimes be made on the basis of the original manufacturer's pigmenting
specification. However, because colors can vary slightly from one lot to another, or one model
year to another, color matching by this method may be unsatisfactory. In addition, age,
sunlight exposure, weathering, and other environmental conditions can shift colors over time.
In order to get the highest quality color match for your repair project we recommend using custom
color matching. The best method is to obtain several paint color samples that are in the range of
the color you are trying to match. Select the best match from these samples under your actual
lighting conditions. Then provide us with the color chip and we will match it and mix
a repair kit for you.

Matching colors can be easy, even whites. If you can match paint chips with your project in daylight, great.
If not, consider using higher (brighter) light levels when you start color matching it will
ensure faster more accurate paint chip comparison. Mix paste with catalyst and stir well.
Spread on clean 1/16" deep scratch or blemish and smooth with stick.
Dry for 3 hours. Sand. Polish. After sanding and polishing, restore normal light levels. Have a beer.
